A Sensational Evening Of Glow & Heart With Candy Cane Project
We recently had one of those evenings that stays with you. We joined the Candy Cane Project team for the launch of their latest beer, Hazy Cane, and it was filled with heart, warmth, and a real sense of community. It reminded us why we love what we do, helping people create spaces that feel magical and welcoming.
What is Candy Cane Project?
If you haven’t heard of Candy Cane Project before, it’s something really special. Brad started it in honour of his sister Candice, who everyone lovingly called “Candy Cane”. Every year, they release a new beer to help raise funds for cancer warriors. Their launches always feel like this big, heartwarming get together with great beer, good music, and people showing up for such a beautiful cause. It’s one of those things that just makes you grateful to be part of a community like this.
Something that we loved from the night was hearing Brad speak about how far Candy Cane Project has come. They recently won an award at the Epic Africa Beer Cup which is such a massive testament to the heart and quality behind what they do! He also shared how none of this would be possible without the breweries and the community who show up for the project year after year. They’ve even launched an athletic club and one of his friends ran an unbelievable 250-mile ultramarathon to help raise funds for cancer warriors. It’s wild in the best way and it really shows how much love and momentum this cause has behind it.
Adding a Warm Glow
For the launch, we contributed to the atmosphere with our lights. Our Gold Drop String Lights added that soft golden shimmer that always feels a little luxe, while a few Pink Flamingo Bulbs tucked into the drop strings brought playful highlights. It was so lovely to see how lighting can instantly shape a space and make it feel welcoming.
Hazy Cane: A Beer with Heart
This year’s Hazy Cane launch was the fourth hosted by Brad, and it was full of good vibes and community spirit. The beer itself is delicious (I may have had a few myself!), but what makes it truly special is knowing that every purchase helps fund treatment and support for cancer warriors.
